'What part of ... "I don't want, absolutely, positively, any slightest
hint or bit of, not a smidgeon, not anything, nothing, absolutely nothing,
nothing, no, not an ince, not a minute trace, teeny, weeny, micro cosm,
micro, schmicro, nothing, none, completely clear of, completely free of,
not 1%, not .00001%, zilch, zero... Genetically altered food" ... don't
you jolly well understand?!'
A stark white back board. A white dish. White knife and fork. Overlaid with
greyish handwritten copy. Informal terminology, mixed with that of another
era... the era relative to those who think on behalf of the masses. How
specific must it be.
If the industry has confidence in its product, ie. a genetically altered
product, then let it stand on its merits. Don't hide it by not clearly labelling
it on the package. Use marketing, advertising and strategy to sell that
merit. BUT DON'T, DON'T TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD CONSUME OR ACCEPT.
